About the PetPeePee Products
For over 15 years the PetPeePee System was primarily service based and more concentrated in South Florida. Over two years ago we 'put our service in a bottle' and have gained over 100 stores to carry the PetPeePee Product. Through years of experience in pet urine odor removal, our products are each specifically designed for different urine odor problems. In 2010, we developed a manufacturing side of the company and have been spreading the products to pet stores, groomers, boutiques and other pet speciality stores throughout the county. Using only Naturally Blended Minerals from the Dead Sea, the PetPeePee Products are the first in the industry to remove urine odor permanently! We do not use any chemicals, soaps, fragrances or enzymes which many other products on the market contain. PetPeePee History
Over 20 years ago Meir Martin worked for a standard carpet cleaning company that used high industrial detergents, chemicals and enzymes. After a short period of time he realized that every time he cleaned carpets with pet stains and urine odor, the customer would call and complain that the stains had come back and the odor was worse than before.
From there he started wondering why was this happening, what was wrong with the products that the company was using and why they didn’t work?
Being born and raised in Jerusalem, Israel, he asked his mother, who still lived in Israel, to send some of that ‘white powder’ that she used on urine odor (which gave decent results) when their dog made some accidents in the home. For years he experimented with this mysterious ‘white powder’ which turned out to be regular minerals from the Dead Sea, and other natural minerals and substances to remove urine odor.
It took approximately 6 years to develop a product, mainly comprised of Dead Sea Minerals, that effectively worked on removing the odor permanently and more importantly, was odor-free and completely natural! However, when applying this new found product into a regular carpet cleaning machine, he soon realized that it started to rust the internal components of the machine and the machine eventually stopped working.
So, being the inventor and entrepreneur that Meir Martin is, he started to build his own carpet cleaning machine made out of 3/16 aluminum (an extremely strong, heavy and durable metal).
After 15 years Meir Martin has built an entire system and concept that uses the Naturally Blended Minerals from the Dead Sea and his patent-pending equipment. The PetPeePee facility (prototype designed in 2002) is located in Pompano Beach, FL and is specifically designed for cleaning and removing dog and cat urine odor from oriental rugs, furniture, draperies and a variety of other items.
In 2009, Meir Martin started the transition of moving PetPeePee into the hands of his daughter, Arbel, in order for him to pursue his life’s passion. In Israel, Meir was an infamous wildlife photographer and was best known as photographing Israel’s largest Avian Population, over 370 species. Today, he currently spends his time photographing wildlife in the Florida Everglades and Wetlands such as Wakadohatchee in Delray Beach, FL and Green Cay. He then combines his wildlife photographs with computer technology, imagination and time to create one of a kind masterpieces. Why PetPeePee doesn’t use Detergents/Soaps, Fragrances or Enzymes
Detergent/soap
Detergent/soap is a wonderful and powerful substance that is made to remove dirt and bacteria effectively. However, in order for it to be 100% effective it must be rinsed away and all traces of soap and dirt must be removed from whatever is being washed. For instance, when you wash your hands you apply soap, rub your hands together, rinse them with water to remove all the dirt and soap from your hands and voila! Your hands are clean!
However, when products and cleaning systems use detergent/soap to wash your item that has urine odor and pet stains, the detergent/soap is not rinsed out 100%. So, it simply becomes ‘PeePee Soap!’ The stains are removed at first (just like when you first apply soap to your hands) and the odor is temporarily masked. But, because the soap is never washed out it quickly becomes a glue-like consistency now stuck to the bacteria that causes the urine odor and causes a dark brown stain on your carpet.
Therefore, when it comes to urine and pet stains avoid anything soapy or oily simply because it cannot be rinsed out 100%.
Fragrances
Fragrances are also called deodorizers which is explained in the dictionary: as de·o·dor·ize-tr.v. de·o·dor·ized, de·o·dor·iz·ing, de·o·dor·iz·es 1. To mask or neutralize the odor of.
Fragrances are used to temporarily mask odor. Therefore, PetPeePee does not use any fragrances that mask urine odor temporarily, PetPeePee System and Products are completely odor-free, so you either smell pee pee or you don’t!
Enzymes
In order for enzymes to work at maximum efficiency, there are many components that must take place. For instance, temperature must be at a higher level than our average households are, Ph levels must be at a certain range, and many other additions.

Enzymes must have the correct shape to do their job. They are made of proteins, and proteins are very easily affected by heat, pH and heavy metal ions. Some people say that enzymes work like a key in a lock. If the key has been twisted by heat, or dissolved in acid or stuck up with chewing gum it will not work. Enzymes change their shape if the temperature or pH changes, so they have to have the right conditions. "
Therefore, if our home does not have these perfect conditions for the enzymes to work, which is virtually impossible, then they can’t work effectively to remove urine odor.
